THE wheels are already turning in enthusiastic fashion for the brand new Football Education partnership between Plymouth Argyle and Plympton Academy.
We were delighted with the terrific response to our initial Open Evening at Plympton Academy on Thursday evening, with parents and players meeting Argyle staff to learn more about the educational and football opportunities available.
The collaboration provides an exciting and innovative learning opportunity where students can study at Post 16 level alongside developing their Football skills within the Academy.
The academy offers those with a passion for football to combine study pathways, whilst gaining regular professional training and development from a professional football club.
Students will have access to a Plymouth Argyle UEFA B Qualified coach, engaging in high-quality, professional training sessions geared towards developing both tactical and technical awareness of the game, as well as competing in ESFA U18 School Leagues and Cup fixtures.
