ARGYLE Community Trust has delivered a specialised course in Sports Massage to a group of students from Poland as part of our continued relationship with the Erasmus education programme for European students.
The budding therapists have worked with the Academy players and Football Education Scholars at Home Park, developing their knowledge of massage and applying new techniques to the arena of sporting fitness.
“The group are staying with host families here in Plymouth as part of a student exchange,” said Sports Therapist Matt Budd. “They are broadening their knowledge and specifically harnessing their skills to sport.
“It gives them a terrific insight into working in sport and, specifically, professional football. As a Trust, it further enhances our partnerships across Europe and we have certainly added more members to the Green Army.”
Student Daniel Bledowski added: “It has been a great experience for us to learn new skills at Plymouth Argyle. We have developed our techniques in massage, while also improving our knowledge of English.”
