ORIGINALLY a trainee on Argyle’s Education Programme at the age of 16, Todd Hanrahan has now landed a job as Argyle Community Trust’s new NCS (National Citizen Service) Cohesion Officer.

The new role of NCS Cohesion Officer works within the social inclusion department at Home Park. Todd first enrolled as a participant on NCS in 2011 and has been involved every year since, as either an assistant team leader or full team leader.

He said: “After finishing my trainee programme with Argyle, I went on to work as a School Games Organiser Apprentice with Plymouth Schools for Sports Partnership for a year, and ended up staying there for over four years.

“The role at Argyle involves going into schools and recruiting participants for upcoming NCS waves, as well as enlisting NCS staff and running the waves. I am looking forward to the upcoming NCS Summer and excited to see what we can put together to make NCS Summer 2017 the best yet.

“I am thoroughly enjoying my role here at Argyle and looking forward to the future.”
