Goals Plymouth vs PAFC Select 7ARGYLE Community Trust were joined by first-team stars Luke McCormick and Nauris Bulvitis in helping to open the brand new ProTurf arenas at Goals Plymouth. Goals is the UK’s most popular provider of 5 & 7-a-side football with 46 FA Accredited clubs across the UK.

As part of an £8 million investment package, over 150 new arenas are being built during 2016.  Mark Jones, Chief Executive said: “Football is our passion and our customers love the game as much as we do.  This investment will give our customers the very latest synthetic turf in the UK to play on and with our clubhouse upgrade and great customer service, why would you play anywhere else.”

These are purpose built 5 and 7-a-side enclosed floodlit arenas featuring ProTurf, which is the very latest all weather synthetic turf and is exclusive to Goals.  As close as you can get to grass, this will allow for natural gameplay, improved fitness and less injuries due to the superior shock absorption.  New ProTurf arenas have just been opened at the local Goals club on Outland Road.

Nicky Burnage, General Manager at Goals Plymouth said: “The feedback from our players has been fantastic and everyone is very excited about the new playing surface.  They might not have the skills of Ronaldo, but our new ProTurf arenas gives everyone the opportunity to show off their best football skills…..no excuses!”

Argyle Community Trust Football Development Manager Jason Chapman said: “The new ProTurf 7 a side pitch at Goals Soccer Centre Plymouth is incredible, the surface is the best around and the improvements are superb. Even the first team players were commenting on how good it was. We all really enjoyed playing our friendly game with Goals which was very enjoyable.

“We love having a close partnership with Goals and it’s great to work with Nicky and her team as they share the same community ethos as ourselves. The continued developments of our Saturday morning soccer centre proves this, long may it continue.”
